ART Lovers Movement, Cooranbong, will unveil an original calendar of members’ paintings as an added drawcard for its annual exhibition at Morisset this weekend.
Not that it needs an added drawcard: last year’s two-day exhibition attracte d 1000 visitors.

"The exhibition will display more than 100 original works of art for sale," Paul Hairs, of Art Lovers Movement, Cooranbong, said.
"But in addition to these paintings the Art Lovers Movement is also producing a 2014 calendar displaying 12 original paintings by members."
There is a range of paintings in the calendar, including one depicting a meeting of two curious dogs by Helene Ruma, and landscapes by Bob Edwards, Hans Jenson and Linda Hairs, and a riot of kookaburras by Rob Spedding.
"The calendar can be viewed and purchased at the exhibition," Mr Hairs said.
The event will be launched at Morisset Memorial Hall tomorrow from 6pm.
The exhibition will be held at the hall, in Dora Street, on Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1, from 10am to 4pm.
Proceeds from the exhibition will support the Horizons disability support program. More
