Atul is an Indian actor, who mainly works in Bollywood and Marathi film industry. National Award winning actor, Atul Kulkarni was born in Belgaum and graduated from the D. A. V. College with a degree in English Literature. He was actively involved in cultural events organized in his school and college. While pursuing his Bachelors degree, Atul enrolled himself in an amateur theatre group, Natya Aradhana based in Solapur. In 1992, he joined the renowned National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi and received a postgraduate diploma in the field of dramatic arts. Atul has received several national awards for his performances and has starred in critically acclaimed films like Hey Ram (2000) and Chandni Bar (2001), for which he received a National Award followed by Khakee (2004), Rang De Basanti (2006) to name a few. Kulkarni’s gave some noteworthy performances in Marathi film industry in movies like Vaalu (2008), Natrang (2009) and Happy Journey (2014). His next movie Jazbaa is scheduled to release in October 2015.
