Govind Namdev is a veteran Indian actor, who is an alumnus of the National School of Drama. He made his debut with the film, Shola Aur Shabnam (1992), followed by Bandit Queen (1994), Prem Granth (1996), Satya (1998) and Sarfarosh (1999). Namdeo’s work can be seen in films like Lajja (2001), Satta (2003), Garv (2004), for which he is critically acclaimed. He is popularly known for his role as a cop in films like Johnny Gaddar (2007), Sarkar Raj (2008), and Wanted (2009). Some of his notable works include Heroine (2012), OMG-Oh My God (2012), Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013) and Singham Returns (2014). He was last seen in the film, Ab Tak Chhappan 2 and Dussehra (2015). His upcoming film, Fitoor, is set to release in February 2016.
