Madhur Bhandarkar is an Indian film director, script writer, and producer. He made his directorial debut with Trishakti (1999). He is one of the most renown directors and has made exquisite films over his tenure in the industry. Madhur’s second film, Chandni Bar (2001), won the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues. He then went on to direct films like, Satta (2003), Aan: Men at Work (2004), Page 3 (2005) and Traffic Signal (2007). He then directed an absolute masterpiece which can be labeled as the standout movie of his career. The movie, Fashion (2008), won multiple awards and earned Madhur huge praise. His last few films were Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji (2011) and Heroine (2012). He now has the film, Calendar Girls (2015), lined up.
