Mukul Dev is the son of a former Police Commissioner of Delhi and attended the St. Columba’s School in Delhi. He made his acting debut in the television show Mumkin (1996) followed by his debut in the Bollywood movie Dastak later that year. He has acted in over 30 movies in a career spanning 18 years and has worked in films in multiple languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi and Bengali. His most noted works include Wajood (1998), Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena (2005) and Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011). He continued to work in television shows like K. Street Pali Hill (2004), Sssshhh... Phir Koi Hai (2006) and the family drama Kumkum (2008). He was last seen in the film Hero Naam Yaad Rakhi which (2015). His upcoming film Meeruthiya Gangsters is set to release in 2015.
