Robo Shankar is a Tamil stand-up comedian who also appears in several character roles in Tamil films. He made his breakthrough with the show, Kalakkapovathu Yaaru performing stand up comedy. He has appeared in movies like Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (2013), Kappal (2014), Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (2014) and Maari (2015). His upcoming films Strawberry, Maya, Yatchan and Puli all set to release in 2015.
