Recipes / Fish Flavoured Shredded Pork
This pork dish does not contain fish but contains seasonings normally used in fish dishes.

Dried wood ears (mushroom) |

Ginger root (finely chopped) |

Method
- Soak the wood ears in warm water for 20 mins and then wash it with cold water until clean. Cut it into thin shreds.
- In a bowl take thin shreds of pork along with a pinch of salt and half the cornflour till well coated.
- In a preheated wok, heat oil and stir fry the pork for 1 min until the colour changes.
- Again take oil in a wok and stir fry garlic, ginger, spring onions, wood ears , celery for about 1 min. Add the pork strips along with sugar, soy sauce, chilli bean sauce, vinegar, rice wine and salt.
- Add sesame oil and the remaining cornflour paste until the sauce has thickened.
- Serve hot.
