How to Apply Kate Matte Winter Collection Lipstick | Rimmel London Tutorial
Following the success of Kate Moss Lasting Finish Rimmel Lipstick collection, Kate has added five new matte shades that are perfect for Autumn/Winter. Makeup artist and presenter Philippa Louise will be showing us the Kate Matte winter colour collection and how to apply the lipstick to create gorgeous lips that will be bang on trend this season.

Philippa begins the look by using Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses lip liner to create a lovely shape to your lips. Start by applying the lip liner to the cupids bow area to get a really strong shape and bring the colour all the way down in a straight line on both sides and around the bottom lip following the natural lip line.

Next apply Kate Matte lipstick starting at the cupids bow area and then filling in the lip. A top tip from Phillipa to make your lipstick stay on even longer is to apply some loose powder to the lipstick. To do this get a tissue and peel it apart so you have a thin layer. Next using Stay Matte Powder which works really well with matte lipstick, load up your brush with the powder. Finally place the tissue in front of the lip and dust the powder onto the lip. This will help keep the lipstick in place for a lot longer. If you want to build up the intensity apply some more of the lipstick.
