Best Tarantula Spider Prank EVER!

Fake "migrating king tarantula" signs were posted at various spots along the trailhead. We got people in both directions! Yes, we noticed after the fact that Trantula was spelled wrong! HA! Trust us, nobody noticed;)! By the way, the actual spider pictured is a red kneed mexican tarantula. I do know if a "king" tarantula even exists! We just liked the name of it;)

One great side effect of this prank was the ability to film in plain sight. In some cases, people heard Rich tell the camera person, "You should try to film this closer..." etc and people just assumed we were filming spiders that we found. In many cases, we acted as if we were filming a spider in one area, when in fact, there was nothing there... just to get people to take a different route- INTO the planted spider;)

This was filmed in beautiful San Luis Obispo at Rich favorite local hiking spot, Bishop Peak.
