Cabo de Rama is a very famous Fort of the Goa which was built by a Hindu King. This fort was switched to several rulers which include Hindu, Muslim and Portuguese. Portuguese ruler got this fort from Hindu Soonda ruler and used 21 guns to protect it from Muslim, Hindu and Dutch invaders. The Portuguese ruler also used it to military purpose while later used as person till 1955. Now it is abandon but is popular tourist place which visit timing is 9.00 am to 5.30 pm every day. This fort also has a church which dedicated to Santo Antonio. It was built in Portuguese rule period. Now it managed by archaeology department of the Goa state.

How reach:- It is situated in south Goa district. It is well connected to Panaji city via Kochi to Panvel highway which distance is 61 kilometers. If tourist will use national highway - 4A then distance will 75 kilometers. Its distance from Dabolim international airport is 51 kilometers via Panvel to Kochi highway.
