Coleman was born in Wentworth Falls, and grew up in Byron Bay New South Wales. Her first television part was in a Direct Factory Outlets commercial and her first television role was in Silversun. In 2006, she was cast in the recurring role of Glenn Forrest in Neighbours. In addition to this, Coleman has appeared in many Australian television programs including Blue Heelers, Holly’s Heroes, Wicked Science and season 3 of City Homicide. In 2005, Coleman had a featured role in the American telemovie Attack of the Sabretooth with Robert Carradine for US Sci Fi Channel. She is also a professional dancer who has appeared with the Tony Bartuccio Dancers in The Rocky Horror Stage Show, Dancing with the Stars, and The Footy Show finale, 2005.
