Hello friend!

Hi! I’m a writer!

I’ve ’done’ a lot of things, drove a truck, worked behind a welfare desk, cooked, cleaned, managed, delivered, all kinds of stuff. But I’m a writer and always have been. I have a few books published and on my website Road Warrior Press.

Otherwise, I’m just a guy, a real guy, hoping to find real friends to spend time with, talk with, or maybe just chat with now and then. I’m alone a lot these days. Kids are in school and wife works. I’ve been a stay at home dad now for eleven years. My kids are just about grown up and can take care of themselves and that leaves ol’ dad (me) without much to do.

I have an old injury which has popped up in the past few years to give me some trouble. It limits what I can do, but hasn’t put me in the bed yet! Most days I’m working on a piece of writing, tapping out a blog, or playing the promoter for my works.

I’m a bohemian. That means my view of life, morality, and reality isn’t quite the same as many folks. I am not a believer in any religion. If it’s real and there’s evidence, I’ll consider something to be true. Otherwise, I’ll pass.

I like all kinds of music, except rap or hip/hop, or that new country stuff. I’m cool with smooth jazz, easy and soft, or head banging and classic rock. Whatever makes you happy!

I don’t care for sports. I don’t watch much tv at all, and if I do it’s usually some science fiction flick or series. I like scifi, like I said, and I can handle adventure, drama, things like that if you want me to watch with ya. The company matters much more than the show, anyway.

Mostly I like being outside. I do much of my work every day outside on our porch. I love to travel. If you want to hit the road with me let’s scrape up the gas and go! Doesn’t matter where, just go! My Dodge van is ready to roll!

I love fishing, and camping, though, you know, I’m a bit messed up and I can’t do some things, like hike and stuff. Still, it’s good to park the van near the water, fish, enjoy the scenery, and bunk out in the van. That’s the life!

So let’s talk. We can talk whatever. Mostly let’s talk about being good friends!
