Ingredients

Couscous 500g
Cold Water 750 ml
Butter melted 100g
Salt 10g
Turmeric 2 g
Black Pepper crushed To Taste

Method

  1. Take 500 ml water and 5 g salt to it; soak the couscous in the salted water for 1 hour.
  2. Pour the couscous into colander and drain it.
  3. Put the couscous into double boiler or couscousiere and steam it by covering
  4. Empty the couscous in a sauce pan and stir to separate the grains, add 75 ml of water and mix together by hand and leave it to rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Again put ion double and steam for 10 minutes and do the step no 4.
  6. Repeat the step no 5 for one more time.
  7. After that stir in the butter and turmeric and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
