Ingredients

Potatoes Large 500g
Butter Clarified 40ml
Salt To Taste
Ground Black Pepper To Taste
Butter 15 g

Method

  1. Boil the potatoes on simmering point to par cook for approx 20 minutes.
  2. Drain it and keep it in oven (150' C/300' F) on very low heat to dry.
  3. Peel the Potatoes immediately and grate it.
  4. Heat the clarified butter on saute pan over medium heat.
  5. Layer the grated potatoes in a pan.
  6. Season it and saute till it fully cooked buy turning both side.
  7. Cook the potatoes until they are golden brown and form a cake and until golden crisp brown.
  8. Turn the cake out of the pan.
  9. Serve immediately hot.
