Son of film producer, Kumar Mangat, Abhishek started his career at the age of 17, as an executive producer of the 2006 film, Omkara. After studying film making in New York Film Academy, Pathak worked as an assistant director in small projects like The awakening, No Smoking and One Two Three. In just a short span of time since, Pathak has been a part of bigger productions like Aakrosh, Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Bittoo Boss
