ai Courtney (born c. 1986) is an Australian actor. He is best known for his role as Varro in Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Courtney was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. His father, Chris, worked for a state-owned electricity company, and his mother, Karen, was a teacher at the primary school, Galston Public School, that Courtney attended. In 2008, Courtney had a lead role in the hit Australian series Packed to the Rafters and a guest lead in the popular All Saints. He was in the comedy feature To Hell & Bourke and several short films. Courtney’s big break came in 2010 when he played Varro in Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In February 2012, it was announced that Courtney would be appearing in A Good Day to Die Hard, playing the part of John McClane’s son. He appeared in Jack Reacher (2012), opposite Tom Cruise.
