Vijay to remake Attarintiki Daaredhi?

The latest buzz in Kollywood and Tollywood is that Vijay is likely to play the lead role in the Tamil remake of the recent Telugu hit Attarintiki Daaredhi. The film, which has Pawan Kalyan in the lead, hit the screens last week and has been making record-breaking collections all over Andhra Pradesh.

According to sources, a leading Kollywood producer has acquired the remake rights of Attarintiki Daaredhi and he is making every effort to have Vijay on board.

If things fall in place as expected, a leading director, who has worked with Vijay before, will wield the megaphone. And Samantha, the heroine of the original version, will be retained since she is equally popular with Tamil audiences as well.
